Greenlight invests in aerial photography for site surveys

Home / News /Greenlight invests in aerial photography for site surveys

Recent advances in aerial photography using unmanned drones or UAVs have allowed us to deploy this technology as an add-on to our existing site survey services.

We utilise high specification photographic equipment, which is mounted on a radio controlled flying device which incorporates six rotors to provide a stable platform for high definition images, and the ability to carry a Digital SLR camera. Both the drone and camera are .controlled from the ground and allows much greater flexibility in terms of camera angles to capture a site’s layout and features.

The images can also be used for promotional material where a site is being developed for marketing and eventual sale.

This technique is also useful for monitoring and recording progress on a construction site.

We are licensed with the Civil Aviation Authority and insured for aerial photography work.
